Surgery is within hours

Hello! I’m new to this forum... my surgery is in 12 hours on 11/19/2018... Nervous!extremely hopeful & so ready! I’ve worked so hard already losing 217lbs to date. I’ve struggled over the past few years to keep it off & it’s near impossible to lose more.. I am still in the hundred pounder club! Positive vibes welcome! Anyone who lost 217 on their own will easily lose the rest with the sleeve. Best of luck to you, it's so much fun!

My number one advice is to sleep as much as you can that whole first week. When you aren't sleeping you'll be continually sipping to reach your liquid/protein goals (I kept a journal) and walking a little.

I slept in a recliner in the beginning as my bed was too tall to get into comfortably.

Congratulations! You are a role model of determination.
I'm just completing my first-week post-op. The best advice I've received was to stay hydrated and work on getting in protein. Also, to keep at the front of your mind that the 1st week can be challenging.....but it gets much better quickly.
