So last week I meet with a new trainer to help me get back in the exercise mode, and to help me work around my foot injury.
She started testing my posture and how to use the weight resistance machines. I was doing pretty impressive.
When we started doing arm curl reps, she puts the weight at about 20lbs. She asked me if it was too light. I was wanted to lie say not at all. She starts increasing at 5lbs until she gets to forty. Then she asks how much can you curl. I wanted say I don’t know? But my big lying mouth opens up and tells her I was doing 75lbs just a few months ago. Oh so she puts it at 60lbs. After about two curls, I am oh no this burns! She starts bringing down until I was able to do 15 curls at about 30lbs. I did it, and it was agony after 5 curls.
It just cracks me up!
My body just has a tendency to revert back to couch potato status so easily.
