Hernia repair with the sleeve

I have not had surgery yet, still waiting to see my surgeon and to have the date set. I have a question/concern. I have a hiatal hernia which will be repaired at that time. Could anyone share with me their experience if they had the sleeve and hernia repair at the same time. I'd like to know what to expect with having two surgeries at the same time along with the recovery. Thanks for the help and sharing of your experiences!

Most of us had a hernia repair when we were sleeved.

I don't know how differently it would feel NOT to have had it done. In other words, I don't think it's a big deal.

Yes hernia repair here too. Didn't know I had one but surgeon had prepared my by saying that if she found one she would repair it at the same time.
Don't think it makes much difference.

Yeah. I had hernia repair and really don't know if it feels any different than any other sleever. Overall, it was an easy surgery. The first week was the hardest but it kept getting easier each day. And it was still easier than either of my C-sections.

My hernia wasn't discovered until they were "in there", so they just fixed it. No issues. Wouldn't even have known if they didn't tell me (or bill me)!!
