But most of my days at that point I was eating 50-70 carb grams.
As I raised my calories to 1,000 starting at the beginning of Month Five and again to 1,200 calories at the beginning of Month 7 my carbs naturally went up. But so did my protein -- to 100 grams on average.
The thing that's so important to appreciate (my opinion, of course) is that you're not eating at this point ONLY for the purpose of losing weight -- but to also build a new eating lifestyle of nutrient-rich foods that will sustain your health and to build a life-long healthy eating lifestyle.
And I'm still pissed about Jen's nutritionist's instruction to drink chocolate milk. GRRRRR!
