Nsv and profile picture

So I think I finally have a profie picture uploaded. Took me a while to figure it out! My phone won't let me upload pictures so the profile picture I took today. It is a side by side comparison of me exactly one year ago! I've lost 82 pounds since that picture. I didn't want my husband to take it because I HATED my picture taken! Now I'm so glad he did so I have one of my at my worst.
Onto the nsv! I have been doing a lot of garage sales shopping to get smaller sizes for the fall. So I've been getting size 14 jeans. Today I figured I would see if I could get them over my hips/butt to figure when i could possibly fit into them. I damn near fell over when they fit perfect! I'm still stunned! I started in a size 26. This gets me though when the scale refuses to budge.

Smaller-sized clothes are such great ways to measure WLS success. Congratulations.

And smart of you to buy "consignment" (garage sale) clothes on your way to your goal. Very smart. A common error folks make is to invest too much too soon in good clothes they soon become too small to wear. I thought I was through at size 10. Wish I had all that money back.

Cody you look awesome!!!! Great job. I know what you mean about the "before" pics. I always deleted the ones where you could see "all" of me. You can still see I am fat but not a lot of good ones of my whole body. Even the "before" that I use for here is 3 days post op....after losing 20 lbs on my weight loss program required by the insurance so it is not a true "before" picture. Wishing you continued success!!

OMG I know that feeling when the clothes say something different then the scale and you don't feel so bad after all.
And congrats you look amazing... keep it up girl. The struggle is real after a year.
oooohhhh and I took a pic right before my surgery in a Bra and tights and I hate it as well but wow can I see the difference.
Again congrats and lets keep it up.

You look great! I had the same problem too, I really had to hunt for "before" pictures because I always hid. Typically it was just my face behind the others in the photo. Or I would just take the photo of everyone else!

Congratulations! I physically cringe when I see all the BEFORE pictures of myself, but it is what it is (or was). I am thankful I have so many pictures from my pre surgery life (I am always taking pictures of everything in my family's life) The ME photos are to remind myself of what I looked like before. I don't want to ever go back there.
