2 years after sleeve pain on left side when I breathe

Hi guys haven't been on here for a while, hope all is well with everyone. I am a little worried because I have been experiencing pain on my left side, under my breast for the past 2 weeks but i have not had any fever just felt a little off, the pain is worst when i breathe in deep, although it's not excrutiating pain it is uncomfortable. I want to know if anyone has experienced that? and what are the possibilities of a leak 2 years along?? will make a Drs. Appointment next week but this Dr. is never quickly available. Hopefully it goes away. tried gas-x but did not help.

gall bladder? I would go to the dr. It's not uncommon to lose your gall bladder after weight loss. feel better!

Sorry you are having a pain there. But I'd be very surprised if you had a leak this late in the game. Still, you're smart to check it out ASAP.

It could be referred pain (sensations migrate along neural pathways to other places from where the boo-boo is) from a lot of places. Here are some thoughts (based on my own experience):

1. Have you had a mammogram lately?
2. Could be a caffeine-induced breast pain (not dangerous, just a pain -- literally).
3. Could be a pulled muscle / rib / something like that.
4. Could be pain from a hernia related to prior surgery(ies).

FYI, as someone who had my first gall bladder attack 10 days after being sleeved (and had my gall bladder out a month after being sleeved), my GB pain showed up on the right side and was "referred" to my right shoulder and upper right back.

Please let us know what you find out. It would add to the group's knowledge.

Yup I would see my PCP for that. Most likely not a leak. It definitely could be a pulled rib muscle (had that a looooonnnngggg time ago when I was young and skinny). Let us know how it goes.

I have been having the same pain but on my right side. I would say gall bladder but I had mine removed years ago. It was getting to the point of having to lay down flat and also letting me up at night.. This morning I woke up with a big bump on my upper incision. It has been taking me longer to drink everything and eat anything. Breathing feels tight also.. I'm only 3 1/2 weeks out of surgery.. Going I don't have an infection or anything but thinking it's an incisional hernia coming in. I'm going to go to urgent care Saturday as today and tomorrow just too busy at work.. anyone else have issues like this?

Did you find out what is causing the pain? I have had severe pain especially when I eat or drink on my left side. Waiting for CT scan.
