On July 5, I celebrate my 5th year anniversary since my weight loss surgery. I started my weight loss journey at 223 pounds; day of surgery 187 and today I weigh 135 pounds. Total sucess and would have VGS again in a heartbeat.
Anybody else celebrating 5 years? Would love to know how other VGS patients are doing.

My 5 year mark is December 11 this year! It's been amazing, my life has been transformed by losing about half my former size!308# 12/1/2011 Start of Preop Diet
300# 12/12/11 Lapband to Sleeve revision
158# Feb 2013 - GOAL lost 150# 14 months post op
150# 10/14/2013 - Plastics Dr Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico; removed 5.5# of skin
140# Apr 2014 - maintaining 168# weight loss currently. Very happy with my sleeve and plastics results!

Congratulations! I'm almost three years, and doing well too. I hope to continue the rest of my life! From reading here, it sounds like the further you're out the more difficult it gets, and luckily I haven't experienced that yet.
