This surgery has been amazing. I still don't see myself differently as I did when I was larger. I guess that is something I never got over - the new attention is great but makes me feel weird (LOL). WLS Journey.jpg

Congratulations.
I am going through that myself. I will go to try on jeans or something and I still grab sizes 2 to 4 sizes to large and am still surprised in the dressing room they are too big. Or I will get the right size and convince myself that that particular clothing brand sizes run on larger size.
It is so strange still!

I am going through the same thing. Went from at one time size 48" pants, now down to 30" or 32" depending on brand. Down to 184 lbs and wearing size 30" pants, I still have "fat man" mentality, but getting over it quick. I do not want to lose any more so I am trying not to. Well done on your progress.

And it is a bit strange.... I really didn't know how I was going to feel with the weight loss and I find myself continually surprised when I look in the mirror. It catches me off guard. I still think I'm 290 and then I see myself (or I'll get some attention I never used to) and it'll remind me all over again.

Ms. Jupiter, I do the same thing, clothes are weird! My brain says Absolutely not, you can't fit in that, and it ends up being a bit too big.

JCamdk, total transformation dude, I bet people that haven't seen you don't even recognize you. I didn't recognize my OWN COUSIN after a year, this surgery is amazing! Well done with sticking to the plan.
