just a tiny bit of background info to set up my victory. I build motorcycles, and before you get all oh yeah i love harley davidsons on me ill tell you i dispise the brand, i am a metric bike lover, anything metric i have a deep rooted passion for. so for the last three years i have been building my dream nfl team themed bike. my wife playfully of course kept stating that she was going to steal it and ride it which i'm a guy i was like no way in hell are you touching my baby. lol. so i settled with her, i bought a foundation bike and sat down and built her a bike to HER likings, turned out pretty nice too black bike red rims and some red pinstripe.( her parents have always called her lady bug so i incooperated that into her bike theme, it turned out to be quite a respectable girly bike),she is also a very short individual so when building the bike i had to make it extra low so she could safley ride, which to my dimise last year every time i rode it it rubbed somthing fierce when i hit a bump (suspension bottoming out).ANYHOW BACK TO THE VICTORY. yesterday i uncovered her bike as the weather is finally straitening up took it out of the house,( yes i keep her bike and my custom build in the house during winter, its cold out there...) dusted it off charged the battery ,checked fluids and fired it up after its long warm winters slumber. I thought hey beings im a great hubby i will take it out fuel it up and open it up on the hiway to allow the sleepy girl to open her lungs and breath that brisk pre spring air... So i did stopped at the intersection for the hiway when it was my turn to go i went leaning thru the corner twisting the throttle wide open and banging thru the gears. now remember i had said last year all bumps i had bottomed out suspension as i rode. yesterday not ONCE!!!!!!!. i had this huge smile on my face as i rolled thru the corners accelerating and feeling the wind on my slimming face. it was like being born , like i had left my old life behind and as i rounded each new corner i felt this wieght lifted off my chest.. it hit me that today is the first day of the rest of my new life experiencing things as i had never before, for the first time in i don't know how long i finally felt ALIVE!!!! ( dont worry after clearing the bike out i suprised the wife at work with her bike and gear so she could ride home (: she was thrilled!!!
