I tried to justify the fruit in a Pop-Tart -I better not go there regarding Pop-Tarts.

At least it was only a few so mrsv got the chocolate monkey off her back. She is enjoying eating sensibly.

Seriously, I am scared s**tless to eat dark chocolate right now. That's a place from which I fear I might not make it back alive.

I know the feeling Ann , I was scared when I tried the chocolate candy shell almonds. I got my fix and then got rid of them. They were so good ,but I am still in that "scared to try new things because I'm afraid it will make me sick" mode.

DAMN they were gooood!! (she says with devilish grin)

At this time, I'm assuming that if I eat anything chocolate or anything with high sugar/fat content that it will immediately shoot out my ass in the form of blazing hot magma.

Do NOT try to tell me anything different. This strategy is working for me.

I just had my annual checkup on my 14th month and everything checked out OK with the barium swallow and no stomach stretching. They asked me if I had any problems eating now and I told them that for some reason if I eat candy coated M&M’s, my stomach tells me that I should not have eaten any. I only ate a few and felt bad for about 30 minutes. Then the dumping syndrome came about and I thought that the toilet was going to blow up (ha, ha), not so funny at the time. I am now staying away from them. My doc said that it was too much sugar for my body to process and it was getting rid of it with the dumping syndrome. She said that that was a good thing. Still maintaining and loving my new life. God Bless to all and learn to say no to M&M’s.

I gotta admit, that I switch up my raw almonds with slightly salted ones. They are so different in taste and a few calories more.
But I think I can eat them in the stage where I am at.
