My husband received and accepted a great job offer!!! Came the week before Christmas, so it was the best gift and let us have a very Merry holiday. He is moving out of civil engineering and into IT consulting. His base salary is more than he was making before, plus a 20% bonus when he meets his quotas. He will be traveling ALOT which will pose challenges when I travel at the same time. So I'm looking for an on-call nanny to help, when our parents aren't available.
He is so happy and excited. I'm grateful to have my husband back...his ego was terribly shot when he was fired. It's so hard to see someone you love that down on himself and depressed. This job validates how awesome he is! Thank you all for your support, prayers, and words of wisdom. Indeed, better things can happen after a job loss!!
