Having gastric sleeve with Dr Almanza February 17th my daughter is worried I won't make it home. I have not seen or heard anything to cause worry

Some actual education about the perils of this surgery (vs. the "perceived perils" of this surgery by people who know nothing about it) will help your daughter feel better about your decision.

Explain to her what the complication and mortality stats really are and that it's, on average, safer than gall bladder surgery and knee replacement surgery.

I just had surgery with Dr Almanza on Thanksgiving and I had a great expiernce, nothiing to be afraid of at all, If you have any questions feel free to ask. I would do it again in a second. The hospital is clean the Hotel is beautiful, and the Doctor and his staff are wonderful.
