how do you delete membership
Please don't delete your membership. There is too much to learn. If it's because of the squabbles that sometimes occur, please realize that it's online anonyminity that makes it too easy to say what's on our minds. If we were face-to-face it would not happen. Most conversations here are friendly and helpful. I would have been lost without it!
"Lee, by "own it!" your daughter means that you should be proud of your accomplishment and understand that you deserve this. Not because you have to pay it forward or backward to justify your own benefits. She means that this is YOUR accomplishment, and accomplishing that for yourself is enough. You do not have to fix everybody. And you do not owe anyone for the benefits you have earned. They are YOURS!" Ann2
Good luck to you! I've appreciated all your posts.
Happy trails.

to lee6lee,
thank you for your sweet response, it's because of people like you that makes it hard to leave, but i have been a member for almost a year and all the questions and discussions seem to be the same and now that i have lost 120 pounds i'm able to get around more and don't seem to have as much time to correspond with people, but your response made me remember what i liked about the this forum, i think i might reconsider leaving, thanks lee6lee.
Tony!!!!!!!!!!!! Whats this I hear about leaving????? You may not need this forum - but the forum needs you. One of these days one of these posts is going to be about some guy who joins who can barely get out of his chair because he's 130 pounds over weight. He will question if this surgery will work, is it really for him. You in turn as so many did for you at the beginning - you will tell him all the wonderful reasons why he needs to do this for himself..... It's sorta like paying it forward.
Are posts here redundant? - Yes. Some are some are not. Your success with this process can't be deleted away. I remember when you first came here. You needed this group. Well this group and all the future little 'groupies' are going to need to hear your story.
Reconsider leaving. Answer a post when it applies to you and your experience.
ps Nicely done on the weight loss! I'm so proud of you!
I've been trying to delete my membership for months now, to no avail. I've NEVER seen a website in my entire life where deleting your own account wasn't an option! It's absolutley stupid and ridiculous that you can't do it yourself... I've just contacted the site administrators and warned them that if they don't delete my account, my only alternative will be to get on every thread and forum and just start posting vile, hate-filled, profane nonsense until they KICK ME OFF.
Jame,
i have decided not to delete my account, but, i did go as far as e-mailing the administrator and he e-mailed me his phone number and told me to call him and he would tell me how to delete my account, well the number keeps saying that the verizon customer cannot be reached so i e-mailed him and told him what it said and gave him my number and told him to just call me, he e-mailed me back and said that he has had that number for ten years and thats the last thing i've heard, if i didn't change my mind i would be pissed about how unprofessional he is.
