YOU LOOK AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL!!! Hey, you should join our Horse Lovers group on the site. We would love to see more pictures of you with your ponies!!!
I am so blessed that this surgery has had such a dramatic effect on my life. 100 lbs GONE! My life has changed in so many ways and all of them good! I want to shout from the rooftops that if as I, you have tried and tried to lose weight on your own and failed research the gastric sleeve surgery!
I'll do that Julie! I'm actually a riding instructor. I own 16 horses and the only one I've never ridden is a 13.2 hd sport pony. I was always afraid I would crush her. Think she can handle me now! It has been years since I have jumped because of my weight and I'm looking into taking a few lessons myself to get back started again. Like is GREAT!
That is wonderful! I remember back in my hay day, I was a barn manager at a riding ranch and would jump on any horse at any time and just go....now I'm down to my one baby girl who is 16 years old 14.2 hands and bless her for putting up with my overweight ass for so long. I just put a few pics up if you want to check them out. I'm so glad you are enjoying your life again. It gives me hope and inspiration.
Wow you look amazing and you've made me even more excited , I weigh too much too ride at the mo so can't wait till I can get on a nice 16hh cob I'm really tall!!! Well done . Have you had to do anything else to loose all that weight . I want to loose 100lbs but my consultant said I would really need to work at the last 30lbs??

Of course, you can lose 100#. Many people here have done that. If you want it, you can get it. It's all up to you.

Heather you are NOT to big to ride, at my heaviest I still rode but honestly not as much. It was awkward getting on. Years ago I saw a woman showing a big Appy that I bet weighed at least 300 lbs. I remember thinking how great that she riding in spite of her weight. I have not done anything extraordinary , just listened to my sleeve. While my job requires me to be active I really haven't done any extra exercise. I eat pretty much whatever I want just in much smaller portions. In fact the last 3 lbs lost to hit 100 happened when I quit thinking about it.
