Ok...look....you've been sleeved for a year and are disappointed with the results. You've done it the same way now for 12 months. Why don't you shake things up........a lot.
The last year only proves one thing and one thing only. The plan you were given to follow isn't working for you. It might work for others, but not you. So, it's time to ditch the surgeon and get on with taking ownership of your very own nutrition, supplement, and hydration plan. Even if you can eat 10 oz of food at one sitting, that does not mean you are eating too much. It just means that you are eating too much of the wrong foods...for you. Instead of eating three meals a day of 10 ozs, try eating five meals a day of 6 ozs. Same total intake, but, eating more often gives you more opportunities to get in the items you must get in without eating too much. Since I do not know your current dietary intake, your activity level, or your hydration intake, I can only assume that one, or more, of these items are deficient in your daily life.
So, make a new plan. Mix in more, or less, of everything. Carbs, protein, etc. Your body is throwing up a huge roadblock and is throwing a huge temper tantrum over this new way of eating and will continue to stall until you change something up.
You need to remember one thing. If you aren't over eating, then you just plain can't eat enough of the "bad" foods to cause you to not lose weight, or gain weight. I lost a ton of weight with the sleeve not by measuring and sweating the details. I lost it by researching, making a plan, changing that plan when needed, and being as flexible as a rubber band when I needed to look at options.
Here's the part that's gonna hurt. If you haven't taken the time to make your own plan, then, in my own very humble opinion, I think you've been lazy. Do you plan on spending the rest of your life going to this doctor and failing time after time after time? Do you think he/she will ever take ownership of their role in your lack of weight loss? UH...no they won't. In their eyes, if the surgery didn't kill you, then it was a success. Just how invested do you think they are?
Now, I will allow for outside influences causing you not to lose. The thyroid issue is very, very, legit. If that's the case, then get it adjusted. If the thyroid is just a little off, then it's something you are eating, or not eating, that is causing the problem and the only person who can fix that is you, and you alone.
I really am sorry you have had to deal with this. No one should go through what we go through the first year and not have lost a significant amount of weight. But, not to be ugly, you have a hand in this failure and you also have the power to fix it. This isn't a race. You will be sleeved for the rest of your life. So, get busy making adjustments and get busy with getting back on track.
If you are interested in what I did, please pm me. I will be glad to go over my plan in depth with you. I just don't want to bore everyone on here with a bunch of my self professed theories and drivel. I will tell you this. I hit a stall at 6 months that lasted 2 months. Mind numbing is an understatement. Once I discovered what I was doing wrong and made adjustments, I lost more in the next four than I lost in the previous eight. Did the first plan I switched to work? Nope. Neither did the fifth or sixth one either. But, once I hit the nail on the head, I went into turbo mode and lost 120 lbs in 4 months and never, ever came close to stalling again.
You can do this. You are at a crossroads in my opinion. Start researching and start trying new combinations of foods, supplements, hydration and exercise. Keep changing every week until you find a method that kick starts your system.
I hope you are successful. Please keep us informed with your progress.
