Quick question -- I'm looking for chia seeds in my little podunk town. Anybody got a recommendation about where to find them? At Walmart possible?

Do you have a health food store nearby because they usually sell a good brand. Walmart might have them, I know Trader Joes and sometimes even Aldi has them. Good luck on your Chia search, Ann I'm into flax seeds but do they get stuck in my teeth; have to floss forever...lol...
Really trying to lose some of the "winter weight" I put on, 9 lbs. to be exact. Trying for an even dozen pounds, 12 pounds will give me a cushion in case of a small regain. I'm determined to find my "old motivation" but it's not easily found. No matter, I'll look everywhere
B: usual yogurt, granola, berries and flax seeds
L: having lunch with an old student of mine from when I taught special education. His mother works at the hospital I'm working now, and he's kept in touch with me for years. Excited and really can't believe he's 36 years old!! WOW that makes me feel really old
Menu: chicken, sautéed onions, charro beans
D: baked ricotta, salad
S: sugar free rice pudding 90 calories w/cinnamon and whipped cream
Have a great Tuesday!
jerzey,
One of my former students came to see me this week as well. I literally wanted to cry! They leave and grow up so fast!
I'm looking for some diet suggestions. I'm really not eating as well as I should. Not badly, just not getting my veggies and fruits in like I should. I'm back at the gym 3-4 days a week. It feels really good!
kenson, do you eat salads? I find I get lots of veggies in that way including a protein, i.e., tuna, chicken, salmon, etc. I love salads and eat them every afternoon. Also, I eat berries in my yogurt in the AM and that's how I get much of my fruit and veggies. I'm not much of a "dinner" eater; preferring to just eat a protein and leave some calories to "snack" at night. Also finding that if I schedule the "snacks" it doesn't feel like I'm mindlessly grazing which is a problem for me.
B: usual, Greek non fat plain yogurt w/berries & granola
L: salad w/salmon chipotle packet, chick peas, green peppers, cucumbers, spinach leaves, mushrooms
D: I have bariatric fitness tonight but afterward I'm having a chicken burger w/broccoli tator tots
Nothing after midnight tonight as I'm having cataract surgery tomorrow morning, so I'm fasting after dinner which will be eaten later about 8ish due to class. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Hi guys!
Just returned from an awesome trip to Spain! I took a cooking class, and went on a chocolate tour--fabulous!!!
jerzey, I don't eat salads like I used too. I've been trying to eat them more lately. I've definitely upped my exercise since I got my fitbit. I am actually down 3 pounds, but I need to lose about 7 more. It's amazing how old habits come back. I'm recognizing and really being AWARE and not reverting back to negative self talk!
Hi All,
Hope everyone is well. Its a little quiet in here. I don't post much, but I do read. I have to be more consistent!
