Congrats hon, That's what im eventually going to have to have. Arm lifts, thigh lifts and the saggy skin from my belly removed. Hopefully my insurance will pay for the tummy. Plus I want a breast reduction
I am finally getting my thigh lift done September 1st! I would love to get it done in May but I won't have enough vacation to cover my time off. It sucks that plastic surgery resulting from weight loss doesn't qualify for short-term disability. Yet someone who weighs 150lbs overweight is covered for a knee replacement. Go figure!
In Canada, you can convince the health institution to pay half of the cost if you can prove the loose skin is a detriment to your health and that includes mental health/self-esteem as well. My Aunt has made a deal with the plastic surgeon she was referred to and is paying 2000$ of the total cost of the $4000 the plastic surgeon wants for the removal of her loose skin and she hasn't even lost all her weight yet.
