Hi I read that you have been denied before you're surgery and I was wondering what the reason is for that? I am currently on my 4th month of my pre op and I'm worrying myself sick hoping they don't deny me. My bmi is on the brink :/

Hey! I am not sure if you are allowed to eat smooth low fat cream soups on your pre op diet, my doctor allows it, so i was complaining to one of my friends today about how all i want is either a grilled cheese or a cheeseburger lol, she told me she had a recipe for grilled cheese and tomato soup, i'm trying it tonight, its just tomato soup and fat free cream of cheddar soup...she is going to give me a bunch of new smooth soup ideas too, let me know if you are interested in them!!

My surgery date has been set for February 2, 2012! So excited!!!!

I will be in Iowa City next Tuesday. My insurance is Medicaid. It is nice to have. But I started with a blue cross blue shield.before our lay offs.

That's awesome, Im jealous lol. Just wondering what kind of insurance u have? Maybe its similar to mine since we are both in IA, I have BCBS and am just scared to get a denial. Im looking forward to just having much more energy, being healthy, being able to run around with my daughter without getting tired. And of course buying the cute clothes Ive always wanted but couldnt fit in. How about you? And Im kinda familiar with the area you are in, I work in Cedar Rapids which is just North of IA City about 20 minutes.
