how much will surgery cost me?

I'm about a month away from my surgery date. For months I've been wondering how much this is gonna cost me. Well today I called Kaiser members hotline today. Turns out my co-payment will $500. I've heard other KP members co-payment for surgery is 10 bucks. Oh wells...still feeling blessed.

Bariatric physical/Options Kaiser Members

Today I had my bariatric physical. I was under the impression that my PCP would complete physical and give the clearance to meet with surgeon but that was not the case.
I was little nervous about my appointment because I knew that meeting with the surgeon depended on the physicians assessments.
The physician was really friendly and provided me with an agenda for the appointment, which helped ease my nerves. I took and deep breathe and told myself to relax and be myself.

One step closer...
I'm one step closer to surgery. Last wk I completed the 12 wk options program at Kaiser. today I received a call requesting to set up a bariatric physical. I believe that after the physical I should be cleared to meet with the surgeon.
I'm still working on losing the recommended weight before surgery. I hope be at least 4 lbs lighter b4 my appointment next Tuesday.
