So far I have no hunger pangs and have been drinking lots.of water . I had a protein shake for the first time. I drank about three ounces took me 30 minute(yucky). Chicken broth for dinner it was delicious (never thought I would ever feel that way about broth). I feel like its lost some weight but I want to wait to get a big impact. When I got home from the hospital I jumped on the scale an of course I saw no big changes. The biggest thing for me is saying good bye to my best friend and companion, food. Food. No more nachos with the rented DVD. No more impromptu stops for ice cream. No more munching on potatoes chips while reading. No more fast food drive bus while running errors. No more plates stacked with barbecue ribs an potatoes salads (I'm a Texan). No more stuffing at thanksgiving dinner (I'm talking about stuffing myself not the turkey). But hello to better health.no more metformin, likability, naproxen, swollen ankles, stress incontinence, aching knees. No more surching for the dress to hide the back fat, front fat and all the other fat. I celebrate all of us who have decided to take this step to claim a healthier life for ourselves.

Oh yeah I'm sore.... There's this spot on the right side of my abdomen that is so tender and it feels like it pulls a bit when I stand up or shift positions. I've been feeling a bit yucky but today was better. How is everything going for you?

gmmp, I am glad to hear that everything went great for you. I think that those food commercials should be banded LOL.

Had my surgery yesterday. I am sore this.morning and tired. The hospital is the worst.place for rest. I have had nothing g to eat since 10pm , June 19. My surgery was approximately 1:30 pm the next day. Needless to say I was hungry. Cloud have eaten a horse and the saddle, miraculously post surgery I am no hungry. Even though I not physically hungry I am hungry in my head . l watched a food commercial and I started thinking about the taste and texture. I'm am a little worried about that but I know can get through those times because I have no hunger pangs.
