I am working on drinking about 4 oz every hour. I need to get a new water bottle that has the markings on it, that might make it easier. Sometimes I just get so engrossed in what I am doing I don't even realize I haven't been drinking.
But that's what I'm saying, also. It won't really be different than it is now, my skin is sagging in my belly because I am fat. I'm only 23, so the tummy tuck may be an option. But who knows how i'll feel when I get the surgery (that's if insurance approves it) I may be fine with the saggy skin, if I even have any!
You're 23?!
Sweetheart, you can grow a whole new body at the age of 23.
I had VSG surgery at age 68. And even I don't look that bad. Definitely better than I did 105 pounds ago.

Well I'll probably be 24 or close to it at least when I have the surgery, but the fact I am young is keeping my hopes up of my skin doing it's own thing
I'm worried about it, but I'd much rather be able to breathe going up and down steps than worry about a little loose skin!
no, not two pieces of bread, but a breakfast sandwich, a burger and another sandwich is 6 pieces of bread.
I'm one of those that cut out (or strive to eat much less of) simple carbs. I used to eat under 20-30 gms of carbs/day, but have added back in a fruit now and then and some veggies.
unfortunately, I've also gotten into some very bad habits (ice cream, cookies, etc) that I really need to get a grip on.

I totally get what you're saying (OP here) and I love that you're looking at the big picture. However, many of us come here wanting to know what to expect, concerned about various aspects of it, and weigh all the risks/benefits. Talking or being concerned about a side effect or how to live with the huge lifestyle change is very helpful, I think.
Love the comments about the hamburgers! I think the Big Macs and fries I ate all my life definitely contributed to my obesity. But with the sleeve you don't have to worry about it, as no way in heck could I ever eat a restaurant hamburger again. Maybe 1/4 to 1/3, and that's after 4 years.
