    Default Spanx!

I went back for my one month check. Dr is happy with my continued progress. I ended up having to wait an hour and a half as he had an emergency procedure across the hall...but he is awesome and I had my phone and daughter with me so it wasn't terrible. I progressed out og my compression binder and am now wearing a spanx that comes up to right below my bra. I have to pin it to my bra to keep it from rolling back down. I had to put it on in front of the dr and that was embarrassing! lol It was like sausage casing. lol. Now I decided to try to lose another 10 lbs because my behind is still bigger than I want. I can't fit into the bottoms I want because my hips are still floppy. I am thinking that I need to have my legs done, but no insurance help at all there. Unless I win the lottery, $10,000 is going to be hard to come by with 3 of us in school this fall. Anyway, upward and onward!

I wish you great luck. Love hearing about your transformation.

In the meantime, I'm still looking for a foundation garment that has realistic-looking butt falsies.

I love the veronique brand full body compression garments. They are expensive, but really shape and hold very well. they have straps you can use over the shoulder and also hook between the girls. they don't roll up or down. I wash and dry with everything else and even with a little hole in the back (probably a clothes rip) 5 yrs later, it still holds it's tightness.

Whoa! Here is the foundation garment of my dreams! And I'm not even planning to have body sculpting / plastic surgery.

Congratulations - sounds like everything went well. I wish that the additional surgery wasn't so expensive though!

I have a question for seasoned Spanx users......is there an easier way to get the damn thing on? Or is it difficult for everyone and I just need to suck it up?

I have a conference next week and needed a cocktail dress. Lucked out and found the perfect dress - I'm still amazed a little dress like that can look so good on me! Anyway, I needed to "smooth things out" a bit underneath it, so I bought my first Spanx - torso to thighs. Now, when I was in the 250-300 pound range, Spanx was not an option. Even in my size/weight range, I just couldn't get them on. Now, I can get them on but it's a ridiculous process.....jumping, bending, contorting.......it's like an Olympic event. Once they're on, it feels fine........I don't know what I'll do when I have to pee though, lol.

Is there a shaper that's easier to put on than Spanx? And is there an easier way to get them on?
