I literally have no motivation to work out. It's so sad. Also I've already gained 3 pounds since surgery. Siiigh. Any motivational tips?
FITBIT FLEX or charge!!! Im very competitive, so I compete with a few friends, you will love it. Also, I follow a lot of weight loss/fitness people on Instagram, and I also work out 5 days a week at Planet Fitness, I basically just try and not to psych myself out of going. I just put on clothes and go, and I'm ALWAYS glad I did. My PF location has free wifi, so I watch Netflix on the elliptical and Arc Trainer, just try and find something that you enjoy, it takes a while to find that thing, but when you do, it will become second nature, I promise!
remember you have already made the decision..you have already come this far..so yes, i have days i dont want to work out and dont..but then i get my butt out the door and walk and things are so much better...so my encouragement to you is..remember where you came from and put one foot in front of the other..and keep at it!!
I think you need to do a little self assessment, are you following a plan of fluids and protein? High quality protein, are you taking your vitamins? If you follow your nutritionists guidelines I believe you will have the necessary energy to motivate you, both in proper eating and in your exercise program. You say no motivation, ask yourself honestly, what have I done to gain this weight? If I had gained those pounds that early in my program I would have tracked every morsel I put in my mouth. I am not perfect, but I found that by eating the proper food I was taught to eat I had lots of energy, too much at times.
What is your exercise program, maybe you need to mix it up some with more variety? I hope you find that spark to get you going on the right track, you will find your way I'm sure.
Good music helps my workouts be way more enjoyable. You just need to find something you like. I encourage you to try different types of exercise until you find something you like doing. You can so do this! Just take it one day at a time
Imma bet you are dehydrated.
And yes, walking is good for the soul and the head, as well as your behind.
Hate to ask this, but ... any chance you're grazing on sugar? If so, PLEASE don't do that. PLEASE don't do that. Sugar's exhausting to the body. And it makes us crave more sugar. Vicious cycle.

Just try something you like, you'll get hooked! Walking is the easiest way to start.
I had surgery a day after you 5/12/2015. I feel the same way plus I have the head games playing with me. People are loosing 30 pounds in the same time frame I had surgery. I have only lost 10 pounds so that gets me down and I have no motivation either. Hopefully we both can get some motivation and kick this tool into full speed. Good luck!
