Happy Monday! I was off Friday, and had an awesome weekend! However that being said... There was a little too much "weekend" and some foods/drink that usually don't go with my weekends. My husband is going back to work tomorrow after his knee replacement, and we partied like "rock stars" on his last weekend off!
B: usual
L: sweet & spicy tuna packet on chopped salad, chick peas, red onions, and Babybel cheese
D: 1 egg w/turkey sausage, cheese made into a frittata
S: 80 calorie toasted coconut vanilla greek yogurt w/sliced 1/2 peach (peaches are so yummy now)
Back to basics, lots of water, and getting back to serious exercise. Walking 1 hour in the morning and some toning w/light weights, are starting tomorrow!!
Happy Tuesday!
B: usual
L: London broil on chopped salad, babybel cheese, chick peas
D: probably yogurt or hard boiled egg as I'm facilitating my local support group which usually doesn't end until 7:30 ish or so and I'll be getting home later. We are having a random sampling of some foods that I made with produce from my garden, roasted peppers, roasted grape tomatoes, fresh tomatoes off the vine, w/buffalo mozzarella etc. We will also be sharing a discussion about "Sharing Your Own Personal Tips for Success"
S: probably a coffee on the way home from support group
Hope everyone has a great day!
I slice the tomatoes (according to how large they are) put them in a bowl w/a little chopped garlic, probably a tsp. of Olive oil, dash of fig balsamic (any type will do, but I like the fig taste, salt/pepper to taste. I put them on a parchment lined cookie sheet @ 400 degrees for about 1/2 hour or so. I keep looking to see if they're carmelizing. take them out and cool before putting away. They're yummy put on some type of lower calorie cracker, toasted bread slices, and I've even put them on cucumbers when I'm not eating the carb sliders I so love...lol... Give them a try, they're sweet and take the urge to snack away!
Still pre-op!
Breakfast: Bacon, KIND bar, water
Lunch: Mighty Kids chicken nugget meal with apple slices, water
Dinner: Not sure yet! Most likely salad.

Funny...what you just posted there, Ann2, sounds like a MOUNTAIN of food (to me) now. But it's not. It's so perfectly "normal" and healthy. I like reading the Chardonnay; it always makes me happy for some stupid reason.
(Still in my stupid stall, averaging 950 cals, 80gr protein at 6 weeks post-op. It's annoying.) This is today my menu for today:
Breakfast: Dannon Greek Yogurt (triple zero)
Snack: skinny latte
Lunch: Premier protein
Snack: beef jerky
Dinner: "muffin" tin lasagna (my husband makes me foods in muffin tins - incredible, isn't it?!)
Snack: sugar free putting with dehydrated peanut butter for added protein (my favorite)
...and water, lots and lots of water...I'm SO FULL
Hi all. So glad tomorrow is Friday!
