    Sure,

    Don't belt yourself up if you slip a little on the preop diet, I'm pretty sure most people have (I did). Start your exercise routine now. It will only help your recovery. Walk as much as you can post op. It makes soooo much difference to the pain levels and recovery. Listen to your body, it knows its limits and is the one thing that will tell you if you are ready for food of a certain types or if you are having too much. Set small goals for weightloss and celebrate when you hit them. It feels great.

    Other than that. The short term irritation of the restricted diet fades pretty quickly. Week 3 on mushies was possibly the worst for me, I was over it by that stage. Get ready for a new life. I've lost 45kgs thus far with only 13.5kg to go and it is AMAZING how different I feel. I have more energy, look better and younger and I'm loving life. I can only say enjoy the changes your body makes as much as you can.
