Hey girl! Hang in there, you'll be ok. I eat BF at 9, then drink water until lunch at about 1, then focus on drinking water til dinner at about 530/6. I can't drink protein shakes. They make me sick. So I eat like an egg (really about half an egg) and ill eat a couple tsp of tuna w/low fat mayo. When I get paid I'm going to get flavorless protein powder and mix it with my meals to get more protein in. When you feel like nibbling try taking a few swigs of a drink, sometimes I read that sleevers will feel "hungry" when we are actually thirsty. You'll make it past this, and in a few months you'll look back and be like "why was I even worried?"

Hope all went well- I just got home yesterday. I have had no complications.

Im in Roanoke VA, I'm starting to get a little nervous...I've been thinking about all the food I may not be able to eat and made sure I have ate them before Sunday.

Hi! I am starting tomorrow with my Pre-op. I had my last big dinner tonight and ready to start my new way of eating. . What a nice Valentine gift we are giving to ourselves! Right? Hope to see you all there! Have a safe trip..

I'm from washington state, we are flying delta non stop from portland 6 am to san diego arriving at 9 am on wed 13... melissa said to call when we land to see if we can catch the 9 bus to the clinic or if we have to wait till 12... so we may see you then if that is the case.. I have read to bring a heating throw, they say your really cold after the surgery it will make you feel better & warmer.. also chap stick your lips get real dry... I read one guy said to bring a extenstion cord there is limited outlets in the hotel near the beds at least in his room that is.... so I'm packing one anyways.
