Thank u for letting me ask all these questions! I have Coventry ins. And they said it could take up to 90 days to approve. I was like what??? It was sent in 2 weeks ago. How long we're u in the hospital? Anesthesia doesn't bother me so I'm hoping it won't be too bad for me. Yes any tips will be much appreciated!

Thank you! How long did u have to wait after yours was approved til your surgery date? I'm hoping to get approved soon so I can get it before the end of the year. How r u feeling? I'm getting so anxious waiting for the approval! What ins do u have? Ahhh so many questions sorry!

Hi! Yes, he is pretty great to look at! We have known him for about 12 or 13 years, as he has done a couple of surgeries for other members of my family. Though he doesn't talk too much and the office visits might not last more than a minute or two with him, he is really a great surgeon and just plain easy on the eyes!
I had surgery April 24, have lost over 80 pounds, and still just can't believe how easy it has been so far! The first 6 weeks were probably the hardest, getting used to the whole new eating routine and letting my poor little stomach heal. But I feel great now! I have about 30 more pounds to go, but I have all the faith in the world that it will happen. It is sooooo nice to feel like I am closer and closer to being the "right size".
I have not gone to any of the support meetings downtown! I would love to, but I work a second job and can't get there. Hopefully I will sometime soon!
Please keep me posted on how you are doing! It is so much fun to talk to people, especially in Des Moines, about the same journey.
