Default Goals getting harder and harder to reach

I have notice the slow down in weight loss over the last couple of months, I'm not discouraged at all as what I have lost so far is great butt I do notice it is getting harder and harder to reach my goals. I did say I wanted to lose 100lbs for Christmas and I did that as I sit today at 103lbs lost and that is only 5 1/2 months post op. I know that is awesome don't get me wrong, When I hit that 100lb mark I decided to change the goal to I want to be at 250 by Christmas. Now I stop at 253lbs GO AWAY YOU 3LBS!!!!!!!!! lol.
On a more positive note I went this last Saturday and broke down and bought me a new really fly suit Kinda like a zoot suit, Pin striped and all it is awesome. I have to work at the Casino for New Years eve and I am going to be one decked out super Fly mo fo... I cant wait to share Pictures with you all.
This is the first time in my life I feel excited about dressing up for an event, does that make me girly for feeling that way? I hope not.. :-)

No, that doesn't make you girlie at all dude ,... However, if you post a picture of yourself in the new suit, and then ask us 'Do I look fat in this?' ... THEN, we may need to revisit 'Girlie' Status' ;-)

Congrats on hitting the 100 pound mark ... and here's hopin' Santa takes those last 3 pounds away from by Christmas morning!

It is harder it does slow down I am dealing with the same myself. I wanted to be below 200 before the new year and I am at 202.8 and I just cant seem to get rid of the 3lbs I keep lossing and gain the same 3 to 5 pounds . I just have to hope for the best I had my surgery in May and I have lost 88lbs. Congrats on your loss and have a great new yrs

LOL on being excited about the suit! Nah, not girly. Boys can like clothes. And it's so cool to fit into new things you'd never wear before.

I know the body holds on to that last shred of fat/extra weight; it's slower going the closer you are to goal. I think that's true with or w/o the sleeve. 100 pounds is amazing. Keep it up!

Can we do a New Year's Eve Fashion Show? Everyone post pics in their new 'smaller' clothes?

Way to celebrate your success this far. You should be proud, and New Year's Eve will be the best way to start the new year. I can't wait to be on the other side of the sleeve next year.

I understand how you are feeling re more weight loss. I set myself a goal for New Years (under 250) met it yesterday and immediately said, well, if I can do that, I can do 245 now for New Years... instead of being happy I'd met my goal... Why we do this to ourselves is a puzzlement.

I have a thought for overachievers like us. Let's just be really happy and grateful we met our goals, be proud of ourselves and have the only goal for the next 11 days til New Years be staying on track food wise and enjoying the holidays. Time to celebrate our success!

I bet you will look amazing in that suit. Please do post a pic, ladies love a man in a nice suit!
