You Avocado Opinions Please

I love avocados. They are filled with protein, but they are also filled with lots of fat. Here's the thing. I am almost one month post op, so I am still eating pureed foods. Avocado can be easy made into mush.

Is a small amount of avocado okay or should I really be staying away from it because it has so much fat? Or does avocado have the "good fat" in it?

the fat in avocados is the good fat...and you still need some fat in your diet... avocados are great... and easy to eat especially at the stage you are in.. go for it

The nutrition in avocadoes, including the GOOD FAT in them cannot be beat by most foods. Go for it--it will be great for your hair and nails, too! As with anything else: moderation.

I ate an avacado for dinner the other night and then paniced when I realized how many calories it had in it! But, on the positive side, one avacado was my entire dinner!
