So friggen bummed!

I just synced my iPad and lost virtually everything on it. Most importantly was the app that I used to track my food. I reinstalled the app, but all my input is gone. All my homemade meals that were calculated etc have to be done all over again. Just so bummed!

Which app was that? I'm using Fitness Pal and I'm really finding it helpful. I have an iPhone and iPad that I sync to and so far no problem. Have you figured out what happened that it was lost?

I asked my hubby who's a Mac addict and knows everything Mac what could've happened. He suggested you re-sync and it should show up unless you tried to sync it to a different iTunes library than your own, in which case, that is the only way you can lose your apps. Before re-entering everything can you try re-syncing again? Also make sure it's to the same library your app was originally in. Good luck...Hope that works for you.

Thanks VSG, apparently I did something wrong before I updated the OS. I'm going to look at an app that stores the info centrally. I used gomealshd.
Oh well, a mistake like this you only make once - lol.

Well at least I finally got my photos off my iPad hence finally a profile pic!

I have been using Livestrong. I like it alot, however I can scan an item. I am looking for an ap that can do that and still do spread sheets

I went with sparkpeople. The iPad app seems to work pretty well and almost all my foods are in their lists. I used this site for my homemade recipes so all that info is there too .

I'll just have to track my info from today as all prior info is lost.
