I had my surgery this July and ever since I have had this strange craving for salt! I don't know why but I just have to have it all the time... Of course I limit myself but the craving never really goes away so I find myself in the kitchen late at night sucking on limes with a little salt sprinkled over them! HELP please tell me if this is normal!

Are you getting enough water? at least 64 oz a day, preferably more?

CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.

Same here. And I was never that interested in salt before. Before the surgery, I only added salt to 4 things - mac and cheese, popcorn, french fries, and tortilla chips. I was a total sugar gal. Now, I could care less about sugar.... it's all about SALT!
