...and I had bad vibes and didn’t like the head Bariatric nurse at all, so I’m looking for a new surgeon. There’s one who is further away that I’m going to see next week. I was hoping to like the one today because he was very close to my house. This other one is 80 miles from here.

I’m annoyed, and disappointed, because I just want to get this rolling. I know, “patience, little grasshopper”.

What didn't you like about the head bariatric nurse?

I don't know that I necessarily like my surgeon, but I had a couple of referrals and she seems good. While I absolutely hated it for the past 5 months, I appreciate that I had to wait and come back in for multiple appointments and follow a pre-op schedule and diet and so-forth. I think i'm more ready now that I would have been 5 months ago. So I may not like my surgeon, but I respect her practice.

What didn't you like about the head bariatric nurse?.

She was very dismissive.

I was so fortunate to find my surgeon because he is absolutely wonderful and so is his staff. If you are going to have follow up care at your surgeon's office I do feel you should at least be comfortable with them. That is just my 2 cents.
