Eggs, cottage cheese, minced beef, slow cooked beef or lamb, casserole style or stew would all be good. My tastes definitely changed after surgery - goodness knows why and I really like healthy good protein now. I used to love fresh salmon but can't eat it now. Had a big dose of Annie's "Toad Froth" and it has put me off. Other fish is ok though.
It will be an adventure for you to find out what you like and what suits :-)
