I'm damn near a year out of surgery and today I discovered what toad froth is. I had no idea what Ann was talking about when she described it. Well I have no idea why I got it but today I now know what it is! I didn't eat anything out of the ordinary or to fast. The only difference is I took some Tylenol 3 because of my back pain. So weird and she is exactly right....toad froth! Thanks Ann!

Strange phenomena isn't it? Last time I had it, I had eaten some vietnamese soup beef base with ginger and rice noodles. Never for a minute did I think anything of it until it hit. It's a work in progress figuring out what our stomach will and won't stomach...

HAHAHAHAHA! At last! Gawd... toad froth! I still get it a fair bit, I think I eat too fast! I've always been a bit of a gannet! All I can think of is the cane toads in my garden! LOL :-)

Eating too fast is always a toad froth trigger for me -- but my first clue (perhaps helpful to someone) is when I'm eating and I start to get excess spitty feeling with the food, and then my nose runs. (Yeah, retired people have too much time and TMI!)

Bwahahahaha. I think you cannot be a full fledged sleever without experiencing the dreaded toad froth. I think that needs to be added to the dictionary for sleevers. You rock Annie!!! LOL.

Sorry that you have had to experience Toad Froth. It is seriously the best description. As soon as you have it you know exactly what it is. Annie was a genius to come up with this one.

Had my sleeve 5 yrs ago and never heard it called that. Ha ha excellent description. Totally gross isnt it but never regretted my decision

My nose also runs and I sneeze if I eat too much! The phenomenon is real!!!!
