Thumbs up Turning a Dream into a Reality!!

For anyone considering a Sleeve and wondering if it’s worth all the hard work; I’m hear to tell you its so worth it. I resently made another Dream come true by completing Basic Climb school. I graduated on Sunday. After completing classroom sessions You camp for two days at Horsethief lake in The Dallas, Oregon. Saturday is wear you learn to Rock Climb and Repel. They have multiple stations set up on the different size rocks. It was incredible!!! Sunday we drove to Timberline and learn to Mountaineering which involved learning how to self arrest, glissad, travel on a unsecure and secure rope team. Walk on crampons. This weekend I’m attending Intermediate Snow Skills up at Timberline on Mt Hood. I hope next month to take the next level for rock climbing too. My first mountain climb will be Mt St Helens, than Mt Adams. Hope to climb Mt Shasta, Mt Hood Southside, plus others this Summer. I will be doing alot of backpacking too. Getting ready to go to Hells Canyon, June is the Enchantments, July I’m backpacking 140 mile stretch over 15days on the Continental Divide Trail starting in Lima, Montana. NONE of this would be possible without the Sleeve surgery!

What do you want to accomplish or what kind of Dreams to you want to turn into a Reality? As I’ve learned anything is possible with weightloss. Push through pain and don’t give up. Take baby steps and set small goals to accomplish! 357C82A8-F20B-436D-A566-827CE07022EE.jpeg6F324622-EE49-48CB-A789-A9140FF6C749.jpeg2571096C-5361-4356-B0A9-771B9FE8B698.jpeg59BB65D5-A444-4012-A1B5-37E3FF03097F.jpeg40B9FD60-9DFA-43EE-828A-EEB5830345C5.jpeg4183E106-B20B-40B6-BF91-B5C588002A76.jpeg

    AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!

Climb Mt Baker sometime if you get a chance, lots of routes and relatively close to the trailhead! Once you get a bunch of smaller climbs in you have to do Mt. Rainier. It really is the best climbing mountain in the US outside of Alaska.

So cool that you are doing these things now!

It is truly amazing what our (new) bodies can do!
    LOVING MY NEW LIFE!!!!

Thank you Glyn for the kind message and for the info on Mt Baker Mt Rainer is on my list, just need to get some experience first. I feel so fortunate to live we’re I do. Trying hard to not waste a minute and make up some of the years I lost. You have been an inspiration not just because of the weight you’ve lost but because of what you’ve accomplished. It truly is amazing what we can accomplish with our new bodies!! What a gift we have been given ourselves.
