    Default I did it!

I am in my hospital room, freaking out just a little! Not a lot of pain, feels like I was in a fight and got punched in the stomach. I hope this is the worst of it! Heading off to sleep, our what little they'll give me here. I would like to thank everyone on this forum for the motivation and inspiration.

Me too! Almost 3 am and woke. So hard to sleep here. M doing so well and hope you are too. Four holes, no drain tube. Got Ice chips and water first day. Been walking and up in a chair. The staff here are amazing. My heart rate is low but they don't seem to concerned. Oxygen is low too, 95 with it turned up a bit. Using my breathing thingy. Here's to us. May we all be losers

Outstanding! Welcome to the club. A little bit of pain but every day will be better. A new chapter for a better life for you just started. Work the program, follow your doctor and nutritionist advice and everything will be good. Best of luck.

Congrats on your new sleeve Juanita!! Wishing you a speedy recovery. Remember to sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk. A heating pad can be your best friend during recovery. And if you have issues with drinking making you feel sick try to drink warm or room temperature fluids. That helped me the first week or two.
