I'm 2 weeks and 2 days post surgery and I can am navigating soft foods. So far there have been no complications (vomiting) but I know that can change.
Any advice for the soft foods phase would be appreciated.

Congrats on having your sleeve done, Steve.
I had a lot of reflux and indigestion while on the soft food stage.
I had help from others on this site and that helped.
Stews are great. Soft and easy to get a few spoons down.
Also I mixed my shredded chicken with gravy, also sweet potato roasted is soft
and easy to get down.
Cheese is my favorite too.
Don't forget your fluids though, protein is so important too. Hope I've helped a little.
Here's a good site for recipes to try during this stage. I love the Ricotta Bake.

As my doc says, careful not to eat till you're full (it will stretch the sutures). Eat slow until you feel satisfied, and eat the rest of your meal when you start to feel hungry again.
Here's a good resource I've been using for all stages: https://www.ucsfhealth.org/education...astric_bypass/ (Even though it says "bypass" it provides info for sleeve as well.)
I just pureed everything. Chili, Amy's soups (high protein) with some extra chicken thrown in, chicken salad (I used Greek yogurt & pickle juice to blend it). Just know that nothing about this is linear from my experience. One day I'd enjoy chili, the next it was too much for my new tummy. Some days I just had to go back to more liquid than solid; other times I'd be able to chew something very well and eat it without much liquid at all. I had an "iron stomach" and could (unfortunately) eat anything before. My new little tummy is a diva. You just have to take it slow....
