Hi, my name is Shari. I just recently had the sleeve on 27 Dec 17 and decided to reach out to the internet to get some support. I'm 3 days post op and although I'm not feeling terribly bad, I'd like to know that what I'm going through is normal and have some insight from others. Thanks and looking forward to reading other's stories.

Welcome! The first week is the worst for most people. If you're not feeling "terribly bad" that's great! I had a relatively easy first week myself with little pain. The hardest part is getting in enough fluids. I used little medicine cups because drinking out of a bigger jug seemed overwhelming. Also found that warm liquids went down easier or popsicles. Start walking as much as you can. It really, really helps especially if you still have gas pains from the hospital. You'll be surprised how good you feel in a week.
This is a great forum so ask your questions or search using the Q at the top of this page. You'll find almost anything you're experiencing has happened to someone in this group.

I think Dale means the search bar that has the looking glass icon which looks like a q.
