Considering The Sleeve But Question About Pregnancy In Future

Hi there I was wondering if anyone has gone through or have had questions I am considering the sleeve, but I didn't know how that would affect if I got pregnant in the future. My question how do you get enough nutrients to your baby if your stomach is so small? Has anyone had those questions or gone thru it? I am wanting to get the surgery, but I am thinking of long term in how I am going to be able to have a healthy baby when I can barely eat. Any help or guidance would be so greatly appreciated.

My surgeon told our pre-op group that you should wait 12-18mos to get pregnant after the sleeve surgery.

I have seen a few members on this site who have had babies post sleeve and had no issues whatsoever. You can always talk to your surgeon if you have more questions.

Talk to your surgeon, but many people here have had babies post sleeve, along with two local people in my support group. So it can be done! Just ask if you should wait a while or not after surgery.

I know at 4 years out I would have no problem eating enough for 2. (That's why maintenance is not easy.). No way can I "barely eat." I could eat quite a bit if I chose to.

You will look so good your partner won't be able to stay away!!
