My name is Nia and i am 10 days post op. I am excited for this new chapter in my life, i am down 19.6 lbs and feeling great about that. Either way i am excited to join this platform where i won't feel so alone...only my immediate family know about this surgery so far. Anyway have never been good at writing stuff like this, hopefully i can improve on that too.

Welcome Feisty! I totally get it. I come on here all the time to "hang" with people who know what I am going through or are about to embark on what I have been through. And while I have a few close friends who know about my surgery, talking to them is not quite the same even though they are supportive. They don't really get it or understand what we go through. Keep posting and interacting. That is what makes this great!

Welcome Feisty! I am about a month and a half post op. I have found this forum to be a HUGE help. There is so much great info, and the success stories show that hard work pays off. Its inspiring.
