Ughhh help

I am very frustrated today. Went for pre surgical testing on a fast, which if course screwed up my shakes. I had a panic attack while there, which zaps all my energy and then had blood work taken. I am exhausted and absolutely starving...what can i eat besides my shakes?

Your doctor or nutritionist should have given you a list. If not call them to make sure that you stay with the plan that your doctor wants you to be on. Every surgeon is different.

More shakes? I had no limit and they filled me up. Or broth, sugar free popsicles, whatever is on your surgeon's list. You can do it, it's not for long.

You only have a few more days. Stick to it, you can make it. I don't understand why som Dr's require the pre surgery diet while others do not. My Dr did not require it and even went so far as to tell me it only reduces liver size in a very small percentage of people. He said since my liver numbers were normal there was no reason to put me through that.

Immediately after the surgery you won't be hungry!

Some protein and very low cal veggies. No butter or oils or anything like that. Seasoning is ok.
