I am so happy I decided to do this! I did it in Mexico which turned out to be amazing and beyond any expectation I could have ever had. If you are considering it, I highly recommend it even if you can afford to do it in the US.

i watched your youtube thankyou so much ,question did you have a passport ? my husband was mad when i told him i was going to mexico but he got over it thank you again i feel a whole lot better about going.

I am thrilled to hear that and I am so happy for you. I am also having my surgery in Mexico (TJ) and yes I had a lot of people be judgmental about that. Some people are just ignorant. My surgeon is Dr. Illan in Tijuana and my surgery date is June 14th. I am on the fourth day of my pre op liquid diet (no solid) foods allowed at all. It is crazy but hearing your success and positivity inspires me to keep going. Thank you for that and all the best!

Yes you have to have a passport to go to Mexico. If you are going through beliteweight.com you will be so happy! Across the street from the hospital is a beautiful mall with plenty of restaurants and the hospital itself is state of the art. You won't believe how nice the rooms are...and, unlike here in the US you don't share a room with anyone so you have plenty of privacy. You will not regret this decision.
