Hearing loss?

Has anyone experienced hearing loss or just feel like your ears are plugged after surgery? I'm 3 weeks postnop and have noticed it more and more when I speak it sounds a little funny. Anyone else?

I do not see how that would be surgery related so maybe you have something else going on. I suggest speaking to your primary care physician.

I am not being sarcastic but have you considered cleaning your ears out? Carbamine Peroxide is available in ear cleaning kits over the counter at many pharmacies. The kits have every thing you need. Does a wonderful job. If you follow the directions, it can work as fast as 3-4 days. I have used it for years and can tell when I need it because I have progressive hearing loss and it is amazing how much I can hear afterwards. If concerned, check it out with your doctor always!

Thanks for the replies. According to Wiki, this can be a side effect to losing too much weight too quickly. I've also reached out to my doctor about it.
its a condition called Patulous Eustachian tube. It might be something I just have to deal with.
