I am new on here and definitely new to sleeved life. I came here and signed up because I need support and help in certain aspects of life lately.
Well when I got home I couldn't hold much down for about 3 1/2weeks and now I'm getting back into that. Been to the ER three times now for dehydration and my insurance doesn't cover Zofran for nausea and I don't have the extra $200. Blah. And trying to afford the food I need to eat. OUCH!! Sometimes I wonder if this was a good idea
Welcome I am wondering what types of foods your allowed to eat at your post op stage I'm asking because maybe e can suggest different ways to prepare them that may help. I would also like to know if at any point you were good at keeping things down and if so what were they. My doctor told me if at any point I go from being able to keep things down to not being able to because I switch the foods I'm eating to then I should go back to what I can handle maybe that is the solution for you. I haven't really run into any problem keeping things down but I take introducing new foods into my diet very slowly doing each new food one at a time for several days before I expand on something else. I wish you the best and I am interested to hear back exactly as to what is causing your problem.
