    Hi
I didn't have to be put under for my dental implant. They gave me a pill for anxiety and then I was well numbed and didn't feel anything.
    Good luck!

    Hi Jaime,
I want to be put under for everything. If I could be put under for teeth cleaning, I would do it! LOL

Well, my tooth saga continues. My regular dentist sent me to an oral surgeon who I had gone to before. The surgeon is a nice guy. I called his office 2X to make sure that they took my dental insurance and they said they did. Then, on the day of the extraction, I filled out paper, asked them to verify that they took my insurance (they said "yes"). Went in, had the tooth extracted and bone was put in to set me up for a future tooth implant. Afterward, when paying for my bill, the receptionist/bookkeeper tells me that they don't take my insurance. I had to pay in full - $1,500! With insurance, it would have ben $128... so, I'm still in pain, oral pain is so difficult to manage. I was run over by a car and my left leg was crushed and I tell you, this tooth pain is right up there with that pain.

I really didn't need this right before my surgery. I'm working with the oral surgeon's office on the issue. What a mess.

I hope everyone else is doing better.
