Had been having horrible issues with waves of nausea, and horrible pain in the right upper quadrant. Dr said my gallbladder had a 87% ejection rate --- which means it was working too well. All that extra bile was making me sick. So went in for surgery last week, laparoscopic, and it went well. When I awoke he told me it was gone, and that to his surprise it was infected. Before surgery, he said it didn't look infected from the ultrasound or the hida scan.
So here I am, 6 days later, sick as a dog. But this time it's a double ear infection. Now I'm on huge antibiotic twice a day and I have to eat nothing but protein before I take it. Ugh. I just want to feel normal again. See people. Go outside. Take a walk.
