Wow - where did those 70 pounds go ? Im 237 this morning having lost 70 pounds ( 5 stone ) since Jan 1st. Im just back from Disney and New York, where I lost 7 pounds whilst away. I ate more carbs away ( which I avoid at home ) and it seems to have shaken things around to generate the weight coming off again. I want to loose another stone ( 14 pounds ) before I go on my Meditteranean cruise on 7th August. Im looking forward to being able to eat lovely meats but having one or two bites at a time. We have planned 'strenous' excursions plus I plan daily ice skating on the ship so I can try and still loose on the cruise.

My goal is 167 which is 11 stone 13 pounds in UK talk. Ive not been that weight since I was 11 lol.

As I carry a large amount of weight on my thighs and butt, I look "slim" at 190-185 pounds ..... But the scales know otherwise lol

Good luck to all those starting their journey. I wish Id had this done sooner. Ive no regrets at all !

My food = chicken, pork, turkey, lamb and steak. I love meat.

I also have tinned tuna ( in spring water ) and salad

The odd tiny cube of cheese. I avoid carbs ! Only carb I knowingly have is milk in coffee in morning and in my wine

Tonight I had one inch square of steak, 6 small fries ( which includes the two I ate when cooking ) plus 14 peas and 6 green beans and a tiny dot of ketchup. Im stuffed ! Lol

Lots of bottled water

No sweets, soda, cookies or cakes - luckily I was never a sweet tooth - and I never go near slider foods luckily.

I was always a BIG portion eater - pasta, sauces, fries, roast potatoes etc. How wonderful to enjoy 'big' meals like a liitle bird would enjoy

I DO however like the odd glass ( or two ) of red wine. I cannot drink anywhere near what I used to drink.

Yeah!!! I am so happy for you. I still have 5 months before my surgery but thats all i can think about. I watch every blog on you tube and read every blog on here. I am so ready to get this journey started.

Just replied to your thread hun. The airplane did bloat me up temporarily ( as flights always do ) it was only when the water/sodium bulk went woosh away a couple of days later did the true weight loss show
