    Default worried

I had my surgery 4 days ago. Yesterday I. Was driving and smelled an offensive odor. It was one of my cuts popped open.its been drainage since. It smells horrible. I called the dr office and the said the drainage was to be expected. Has anyone else had a cut open and drain anything foul like this?

Drainage is normal. Bad smells are not. If the dr won't see you soon go to a walk in clinic.

Forgot to day, look and see if it's clear pinkish. Cloudy white or yellow or green are bad

One of the things on the list of things to watch for was incision open or leaking puss. You definitely need to go in. If you think the surgeon won't see you, just show up at his office window. I'm sure they will rush you back behind the waiting room real quick!

I went to the Er and they did a culture and started me on two different antibiotics. So hopefully I will be feeling better soon. Thank you all.
