I must say I wish I did this surgery much sooner in my life, best gift I ever gave myself!
Yet as for this doctor, I don't agree with him on performing this surgery on such a young girl....
this is a last ditch effort after all other attempts have fails for many years as a responsible adult..

I just finished reading his book and I was quite suprised to read about his niece as well. Big message about body image and judgment, not too healthy. What happens to her stomach as she matures? Lots of questions.
