    Default Cleaning the closet

I finally got the energy and confidence to clean my closet. As I posted this week, I went shopping and needed to put my new clothes and shoes away. There were some things, I didn't get much wear out of, but I made the break. I was stuck in styles, that I no longer want to wear. I wore many peasant tops, since they are loose fitting. Don't get me wrong. I'm still a 70's lover, but not at this time. I put on a size 18 pair of dress slacks and just couldn't believe it. I remember wearing those, cutting into my waist and biscuits. We are having a community garage sale next month. Hopefully I'll get a little money out of my clothes....to buy more!

How exciting!!! I've been putting the too big for me clothes in bags to take to Goodwill. I'm looking forward to shopping for new clothes! Have fun shopping!

That sounds great to me! I have a (clean) trash bag so full it's starting to overflow with clothes that are too big now. I'm saving it for a friend if she decides to get the surgery

Isn't that the best feeling? I am currently in 8's and I have been afraid to get rid of the 12's (just in case). But last week, I said no, you won't be going back and got rid of them. I still pick up size 8's and look at how small they are and then look down at my stomach and say there is no way I'm fitting into these, but I do! The other thing that I had to get rid of is shoes! I can't believe my feet have gotten smaller. I used to wear a size 8 in shoes, but now, depending on the brand I'm in a 7 or 7.5. Yesterday, I just bought 5 new pairs of shoes, because all the ones I wore last summer are too big. Who would have thought your feet get smaller losing weight? Crazy!

Good for you... I still have not cleaned out my closet because I want to look back a year from now and see how much I have lost. Keep up the good work.
